演绎论证 Deductive Argument 的结果为真由其前提为真来保证。即演绎论证是由一条真陈述推演出另一条真陈述。
在这种论证中，最重要的是形式，只要形式正确，则论证有效（但结论不一定为真）。只要前提为真，则结论为真。
最著名的演绎论证是三段论 syllogism。
